Spectrometric method for measure the characteristics of ionizing radiation is used in radionuclide metrology as a relative method of measuring the activity of radionuclides, as well as for the evaluation of radionuclide contaminants in the measurement of the activity and to assess the quality of radioactive sources (radioactive layer thickness, the thickness of the protective coating).
